Your feed is an input. What you allow into it is a design decision. And if you never make that decision consciously, the algorithm makes it for you — optimizing for engagement, not for institutional intelligence.
Signal vs. Extraction
I have nothing but respect for the talent acquisition profession. But my personal network and community are not free recruiting pipelines. The moment a professional relationship becomes purely extractive — it stops being a network and starts being a liability.

Your network is either a governance asset or a governance risk. There is no neutral ground.

- → When did you last audit the information environment you are operating in — your feeds, your networks, your inputs?
- → Does your organization apply the same governance logic to its professional networks that it applies to its AI systems?
- → Who in your network is a signal — and who is extraction dressed as connection?
